The Kadimah Website

Kadimah is a Yiddish based jewish organistion that was established in Melbourne in 1911 and has had a connection with SKIF for many years.

 

The Sholem Aleichem College Website

A secular Jewish primary school in Elsternwick, which promotes and teaches the Yiddish language and culture to its students. The SKIF movement has had a close relationship with this particular school for many years.

 

3ZZZ Community Radio

3ZZZ is a community radio station which now has Sunday morning Yiddish/Jewish programs during which SKIF sometimes features. Tune in on 92.3 FM.

 

SBS Radio - Yiddish

SBS Radio is a multicultural radio program, designed to attract the many different cultures within Australia. They present several Yiddish programs as well as many Jewish ones.

 

The Holocaust Museum and Research Centre

SKIF has always been conscious of its past and heritage, and believes that the Holocaust played a significant role in our history. SKIF and the Research Centre work to commemorate the Holocaust, and educate the wider community about the this time in the history of the Jews and the world.

 

Der Forverts

Der Forverts ("The Foward") is an American run weekly Yiddish newspaper . It is the oldest Yiddish newspaper still running and also the largest.

 

YIVO

YIVO is an American based Jewish research Institute that studies the Jewry of Eastern Europe, their culture and their language. The Yiddish culture and language play an important part to this organisation.

 

The Workman Circle

The Workman Circle is based in America and has views and ideologies very similar to SKIFs, especially its support of the Yiddish language and culture.
